Research Assist­ant (PostDoc) - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

  • research within the Logic and Semantics research group
  • applic­ants are expec­ted to con­trib­ute to one of our research pro­jects where the con­nec­tions between dir­ec­ted graph minor the­ory and the the­ory of match­ing minors is explored

  • The group’s work­ing lan­guage is Eng­lish.

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) and PhD in Com­puter Sci­ence or Math­em­at­ics or related areas
  • a strong back­ground in match­ing minor the­ory and the the­ory of Pfaf­fian ori­ent­a­tions of graphs
  • good com­mand of Eng­lish is expec­ted
  • strong interest in the­or­et­ical com­puter sci­ence

Bene­fi­cial:
  • very good know­ledge in the areas of graph minor the­ory or struc­ture the­ory for dir­ec­ted graphs
